Open in Google MapsMuseum days are long. Caravaggio is the kind of place where you can put your feet up over carpaccio and a glass of Barolo, without the rush of a tourist trap. The Gio Ponti–inspired interior is itself a piece of Italian design history — fitting, after an afternoon of looking at it on the walls.
Chef Giuseppe Bruno brings three decades of New York cooking and the wisdom of his Salerno ancestors. Hand-cut pasta, Mediterranean fish, dry-aged beef, and a wine list curated by Giuseppe himself — Italy from the Alps to the Amalfi Coast.
Lunch is served daily from 12:00 to 2:30 PM. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and during major exhibitions.
In season, our sidewalk terrace on Madison Avenue offers al fresco dining under a red-and-white awning — one of the neighborhood's quietest stretches. See the terrace →
